"BIO" ..Artist – A word in the music business that is taken very seriously and should be. Bobby Scott is a true ARTIST. He is Native American/Hispanic, but he has a rock looking edge to him. He defines his style with the unique ability to remain true to his heritage and upbringing, yet he gives you something, by looking at him, that you would not expect. To see him perform though is to experience authentic HIGH ENERGY Rockin country music. Bobby grew up in Phoenix Arizona. His grandfather gave him his first guitar at the age of nine. Bobby tagged along for years watching his grandfather and uncle play around town every week, as he discovered that he could play by ear. He listened to Spanish music and the 80's metal bands, but through all of his younger years, Bobby knew exactly who he was and what he wanted. He was inspired when he heard artists like, Vern Gosdin, George Jones, George Straight and Keith Whitley. At 17 he became the lead singer for a front band and played clubs such as Graham Central Station, and then onward to Tootsie's in Nashville. He toured on the road with great artists like Joe Diffie, Tracy Lawrence, Tracy Byrd, Wade Hayes, and Rhett Akins. Bobby would rather be traveling and on the road performing more than anything else in life. He loves people, country music, and performing. He's not your farm guy, cowboy or hat act, he is unique, exactly what this industry needs. He has a work ethic that is outstanding; this is one guy you can bank on! “ARTIST: Bobby Scott ALBUM: Bobby Scott Written by Ken Churilla Bobby Scott is an unknown entity outside the city limits of Nashville, but that’s all about to change. With his independently released self titled 7 song EP, Scott shows the world what the residents of Music Row have had the privilege of knowing – this guy has got the goods. With a distinctively country voice that starts at the heart and exits through the throat, Bobby delivers nothing short of uncompromising country. Far and away the albums brightest shining moment comes in the form of ‘Love Her and Let Her Leave.’ A © owing guitar-led ballad another must-check track is the rocking “Genuine Leather” which seems built for a live, bar-goin’, beer drinkin’ crowd. Granted it’s just an EP so it’s only a taste, but if this is just a taste of what Bobby Scott has to o er, I’ll be the § rst guy in line when there’s more to hear. ” Ken Churilla - This Is Country | "News" “Southern Style Weekend May10-12 “ This past weekend in South Florida the new and improved Fort Lauderdale Harley-Davidson Dealership rocked Broward with a Southern-Style Weekend. Free concerts with the likes of Molly Hatchet, Jimmy Van Zant formerly of Lynyrd Skynyrd, and the Country Rocker Bobby Scott who is sponsored by the Jagermeister Country Tour swept away motorcycle enthusiast community this past weekend.” “Mother’s Day was smaller in nature since most were sharing the day with their mothers, but that didn’t stop Country Rocker BOBBY SCOTT from lighting fire underneath the attendee’s feet. The crowd was dancing to multiple sets of country music including his top hits, “Genuine Leather,” “I’ve Seen Me Do It,” and “What’s It Gonna Take.” and todays new Country Rocker’s. In my opinion, Bobby played longer and harder than the two southern rock bands that weekend. The Jagermeister Country Tour picked well when they signed Bobby Scott”.-Article by, Ga” — Gabriel Carrera, Southern Magizine “Bobby Scott will be performing at WCBQ’s Birthday Bash in Kansas City, MO on June 28th.
